12 Hours in London

Vivian saw the London attractions today for the first time. Will she remember? Probably not! But her grandparents will. Was a great 12 hours/day out with Ningning, Vivian and Ningning’s parents.

Started at London Bridge. Walked the Queen’s walk past the HMS Belfast to Tower Bridge. Crossed, saw the London Tower. Traveled over to Waterloo to see the London Eye, Parliament, Big Ben and the river banks. From there we went to South Kensington and the museums. Quick trip to the Victoria and Albert museum courtyard before browsing the Natural History museum. Saw Knightsbridge and stopped in at Harrod’s. Ningning’s parents were especially interested in the food court area. Grabbed a Starbucks then crossed through Hyde Park Corner to Buckingham Palace. Did a quick wave to the Queen before going to Piccadilly and having dinner. Whew. All that in 12 hours? You bet. A bus, a train, and one more bus later saw us walking through the door. Home. Exhausted. A great day out!
